CB10: Outer Haven, Round 2, Battle 8

So we've come down to the last two battles of the second round. Hard to believe that only 16 battles remain before Character Battle 10 comes to an end. Yes--in about two and a half weeks, the contest will end, and we'll have a champion. So far, Round 2 has been interesting, just from a fight for position. While Nilfalasiel has managed to weather the round with 1st place, there's been several people flipping between 2nd and 3rd, trying hard to close the gap and overtake 1st. In a few minutes, I'll see what victories by The Fear and Vamp did--before these, Nil has a 50-point lead. However, while I do that, I'll give you the last couple of battles for the round. Also: I record the Round 2 podcast tomorrow night. Anyone who wants in will need to hop on Skype. Recording begins at 8 PM ET. Remember to vote at my LJ when you've finished placing your votes here. Actually, Nil was the only one to get both battles fully correct--she'll be guaranteed to keep 1st tomorrow, for her lead grows to 125.

Kil'jaeden Finds This Offering... Inadequate

Are you scared yet? You ought to be, for the demonlord Kil'jaeden disapproves. He is not featured in the World of Warcraft promotion of Peggle. What's worse, his subordinate, Illidan Stormrage, got his own level! What does a demonlord have to do to get recognition around here? Annihilate Azeroth? Well, that hadn't gone so well in the past. Some demonlord... Pffft!
Point thy sword over yonder to get a free download of 10 original levels of Peggle for the PC. While your there, let the Peggle gods know that intarwebs overlord Joshie also disapproves of this offering for there is no Mac version! Afterall, the original Peggle, Peggle Nights and all four Warcraft games have Mac versions... Boo! Phail!
But what is Peggle? Pure video game addictive bliss!

CB10: Outer Haven, Round 2, Battle 6

So here we are, another day, another set of easy wins. Psycho Mantis and Solidus Snake won easily, although it was close on LJ between Solidus and Fatman. A big lead on Late to the Party gave Solidus the win, and as a result, he'll be facing Psycho Mantis in the Quarterfinals. Just a reminder: Round 2 ends this Monday night, and I'll be recording a podcast. Anyone who wants in, let me know. With that said, we move onto the next set of battles.
